Old Cranky Pants
Great photo of Darrel Davis (see that guy a mile away)
Have fun this week Rod! As for me, I have to remind myself there is a Grey Cup game this week, it really means nothing to me. The one good thing that comes out of the next MMG is that this horrible season will be over and all teams are starting over. Looking forward to next year!
Welcome to Toronto Rod, it's true there's no signage or banners anywhere Downtown Toronto regards to Grey Cup, this would be opposite in Regina and elsewhere. Marketing here is terrible except for great TV commercials. Sadly Toronto does not deserve to host the Cup anytime soon. But we'll be at the game. Hope to see you around.
I also have zero interest in the Cup this year. The whole league has known since Labour Day that the Stamps are Champs. Really makes a guy lose a lot of interest. Reminds me of the Eskimos dynasty where it was a foregone conclusion that they would win every time.
After Arash had a few, any explanation from him as to why Sportsnet hates the CFL so much? Glen Suitor had a good point yesterday: you don't see TSN trashing the Blue Jays (whom are SN exclusive) like SN trashes the CFL (TSN exclusive). There's barely any mention of the Grey Cup on their programming and they do it on purpose. A group of fans should park a half ton in front of the Rogers studios and do some tailgating. Crank Green is the Colour up loud, have some fun, etc. That'll piss those snobs off. This whole narrative from… Read more »
Hmmm, there's a lot of baseball on TSN. Yes, the Jays aren't on there, but they are a part of MLB and the last time I looked Toronto was a part of MLB.
How much coverage does TSN give us of the Grand Slam of Curling—you know something exclusive to SNET.
Someday you might understand things Gunderson, but living in Yorkton I have my doubts.
Have fun in Toronto Rod. Sara looks as great as always. Ran into her at a Jets game last month. You don't find much better than her!
Murray
Those Grey Cup jerseys look like Winnipeg Jets home jerseys.
Yes Murray i have been in your fair city and noticed how smart one gets by just breathing the air there and mingling with people like yourself who are so much more educated then the rest of us humble beings who are unlucky enough not to live in your fair city. Thanks for at least sharing some space on this blog with us less educated people
Have Mr Hervey/Jones ironed out the specifics on the Franklin deal yet? Done done and done. Woo hoo 2017 Sk. Rrs.
