3DOWNNATION: RIDERS SIGN BRYAN BENNETT

According to CFL insider Justin Dunk, the Roughriders have signed free agent QB Bryan Bennett.

Bennett, a product of SE Louisiana, will be making his second appearance with the Green & White. He went to camp with the club in 2017 before being released.

Bennett has been with the Winnipeg Blue Bombers virtually ever since, but was cut by the Bombers last week.

The Riders are in need of a QB after Zach Collaros was knocked out of Saskatchewan’s Week 1 game at Hamilton due to a headshot from Ticats LB Simoni Lawrence.
