(Vancouver) – Get ready for a packed house in downtown Vancouver. The BC Lions announced today that with over 45,000 tickets sold for our Concert Kickoff on June 15 presented by BC Federation of Labour, the entire upper bowl is now open for purchase. The 50 Cent performance begins at Save-On-Foods Field begins at 3:00 pm.

June 15 is on track to be the Lions’ biggest home crowd since September 30, 2011 when BC Place re-opened following nearly two years of refurbishments.

“Outstanding. Our great fans have spoken. Concert Kickoff will be an unforgettable event and the perfect way to kick off our special 70th season. We encourage fans without tickets to act quickly,” said Lions’ president Duane Vienneau.

A Grammy and Emmy Award-winning performer, Curtis ’50 Cent’ Jackson headlines our third annual Concert Kickoff after unforgettable performances from OneRepublic in 2022 and LL Cool J in 2023.

Tickets for Concert Kickoff are moving fast and can be purchased HERE while still available.

The day of football fun begins at 10:30 am with our BC Lions Backyard Party on Terry Fox Plaza and extending to Robson and Beatty Streets. Fans of all ages can enjoy food, beverages and activities while $5 Molson Coors drinks are available to fans 19 and over.
