RUSH SMOKE ROUGHNECKS 15-9

SASKATOON – Jeff Shattler had a hat trick and four assists to lead the Saskatchewan Rush over the Calgary Roughnecks 15-9 on Saturday in National Lacrosse League action.

Mark Matthews, Ryan Keenan, Robert Church and Curtis Knight each struck twice for the Rush (6-4). Mike Messenger, Matthew Dinsdale, Ben McIntosh and Matt Hossack rounded out the attack.

Dane Dobbie and Curtis Dickson scored hat tricks for Calgary (5-6). Rhys Duch, Tyler Pace and Zach Currier added singles.

Evan Kirk made 33 saves for the win in net as Christian Del Bianco kicked out 43 shots in defeat.

Each team went 2 for 4 on the power play.
