Free agent QB Brandon Bridge has signed a one year deal with the Toronto Argonauts, according to the website 3DownNation.com.

3Down CFL Insider Justin Dunk has the story here:
I’m told the Roughriders did not offer Bridge a contract.

The 6’5″, 235 lb pivot was born and raised in Toronto, but played his college football at South Alabama. He was a 4th round pick in the 2015 CFL Draft by the Montreal Alouettes and spent time in 2015 and 2016 with the Als. After being released in August of 2016 by Montreal, Bridge was soon signed by the Saskatchewan Roughriders where he spent the 2016, 2017 and 2018 seasons.

Meanwhile the Leader Post’s Rob Vanstone has information on what the Roughriders are paying newly re-signed QB Zach Collaros.

Vanstone reports Collaros is scheduled to earn $300,000 in 2019 which includes a signing bonus of $175,000 (I thought Commissioner Ambrosie instructed teams not to pay off-season bonuses?).

The deal could reach $400,000 if Collaros hits certain bonuses.
