COORS LIGHT RECAP: PATS BLANKED 1-0 IN SWIFT, HOME SUNDAY

SWIFT CURRENT – The Regina Pats outshot Swift Current 46-24 on Saturday night, but fell 1-0 on the road to the Broncos.
In the first, the Broncos got the game’s lone goal on the powerplay at 10:31. Carter Chorney put one home after the puck hit the post behind Max Paddock to give Swift Current the 1-0 lead.
The Pats outshot Swift Current 10-5 in the first, 19-12 in the second and 17-7 in the third, but Broncos goaltender Joel Hofer stopped all 46 shots and the Broncos held on for the 1-0 win.
The Pats outshot Swift Current 46-24. The powerplay was 0/3 while the penalty kill went 4/5. Max Paddock made 23 saves in a third star performance.
