RED SOX WIN THIRD IN A ROW

The Regina Red Sox won their third consecutive game dropping the Yorkton Cardinals 7-4.  Regina improved to 9-6, and Yorkton fell to 4-11.

Reliever Anthony Race, making his 11 appearance, was credited with the win. It was his second win in as many days. Sam Cottingham-Beard picked up his second save of the year. Brian Chen, who came in to take over for Yorkton starter Owen Steele, was tagged with the loss.

Outfielder Jake Wilson was Regina’s offensive star with four hits, a run and a stolen base. Riley Jepson, reached base four times and scored a run for Yorkton. As well, both teams left 10 runs on base.

Regina returns to Currie Field on Friday for a date with the Mevillie Millionaires
