The Regina Pats skated to a 3-1 pre-season victory on Saturday night at the Brandt Centre over the Brandon Wheat Kings.

Koby Morrisseau got the scoring started on the powerplay, when he tipped home an Emil Oksanen shot in the first.

On another powerplay in the second, Jeff de Wit buried his sixth of the pre-season to give the Pats a 2-0 advantage. Brandon got it to within one with a shorthanded goal midway through the second and it was 2-1 heading to the third.

In the final frame, Tristen Robins picked up his second of the pre-season while four on four to make it 3-1 and that was the final score.

Jeff de Wit, Emil Oksanen and Egor Zamula each had two points for the Pats in the victory while Tyler Brown made 28 saves.
