After a dominating win last week over the Edmonton Wildcats, the Regina Thunder are excited to head out East to face the Hamilton Hurricanes Sunday, August 27, 10:00 a.m. (Regina Time) at Tim Hortons Field.

This will be the first time the Regina Thunder leave the prairies and fly out for a game. The team is taking a total of 56 people including players, coaches, trainers, and support staff. The trip is expected to cost approximately $40,000.

“This trip is a significant investment for our club and an important game for the health and relationship between conferences in the Canadian Junior Football League (CJFL). It was important for us to participate and support the league in this initiative.” says Regina Thunder, General Manager, Brin Werrett.

The Regina Thunder have two fundraisers underway to help cover some of the team’s costs; NFL Lottery Tickets and Sack the Jack. Information on these can be found at www.reginathunder.ca

Unfortunately the game is not going to be broadcast however the team will try its best to show the game using Facebook Live on the Regina Thunder Facebook page. Make sure to follow @ReginaThunder on Twitter for live updates as well.
