BO LEVI FINED FOR CRITICIZING REFS ON TWITTER

The Canadian Football League (CFL) announced on Wednesday the following player discipline coming out of Week 3:



BC Lions defensive lineman Mic’hael Brooks was fined for a high hit on Montreal Alouettes quarterback Darian Durant.
Montreal Alouettes offensive lineman Kristian Matte was fined for an illegal block on BC Lions defensive back Ronnie Yell.

Ottawa REDBLACKS defensive back Jean-Philippe Bolduc was fined for a tourist hit on Toronto Argonauts defensive back Robert Woodson.
Toronto Argonauts running back James Wilder was fined for a dangerous tackle on Ottawa REDBLACKS receiver Diontae Spencer.

Calgary Stampeders quarterback Bo Levi Mitchell was fined for violating the League’s social media policy.
Earlier this week Hamilton Tiger-Cats defensive back Will Hill was suspended for one game for grabbing the jersey of an Official and issued a fine for punching a Saskatchewan player in a separate incident on the same play.
As per league policy, the amount of the player fines was not disclosed.
*It’s believed Mitchell was fined for being critical on Twitter of the officials in Saturday’s Saskatchewan-Hamilton game. The Tweet has since been deleted.
