WMBL PLAYERS OF THE WEEK

Broderick Rodocker of the Regina Red Sox took home the WMBL Player of the Week honours while Lethbridge Bulls closer Chris Stodolka was named the League’s Pitcher of the Week.

Broderick Rodocker – OF, Regina
Red Sox outfielder Broderick Rodocker, a senior from Warner University, is the WMBL Player of the Week.

Last week, the Sarasota, FL native had 16 hits including three home runs. He also added 15 RBI and seven runs. One of his home runs was a grand slam.
On June 24 vs Melville, Rodocker was 4 for 5, with 3 runs, 2 homers, (one was a grand slam), and 6 RBI.

In the June 22 game vs Edmonton, Rodocker went 5 for 5 with 2 runs, a double and 3 RBI

His weekly stats included going 16 for 31 at the plate with 7 runs, 3 HRs, a grand slam and 15 RBI

Pitcher of the Week


Chris Stodolka – Closer, Lethbridge

Lethbridge Bulls closer Chris Stodolka is the WMBL Pitcher of the Week. The Lethbridge, AB native had an incredible week coming out of the bullpen late in the game.

The junior from University of Texas at Tyler, pitched in three games earning three saves while not allowing a run. He gave up just one hit while striking out seven batters.
