The Saskatchewan Roughriders announced the selection of national receiver Kevin Francis in the CFL Supplemental Draft. In order to obtain his rights, the Riders have surrendered their third round selection in next year’s CFL Draft.

Francis (6’5 – 220) has spent the last four seasons at North Carolina A&T where he played 34 career collegiate games, starting 10. The 22-year-old Brooklyn, NY native collected 17 receptions for 163 yards and was a key contributor on special teams totaling eight tackles.

“We had a chance to see Kevin at a work out recently and I was really impressed with how he tested,” noted Riders General Manager and Head Coach Chris Jones. “He is a big kid that moves really well and has proven he is capable of exceling on special teams.”

Francis was deemed an eligible national as he was originally born in Toronto before moving to New York.

Hey Rod when you guys are in Stoon if you're ordering up pizza make sure you try Santa Lucia pizza. It's a Winnipeg based chain but there are a couple locations in Stoon and trust me it is amazing. Better than houstons and even verns.

Verns would be about 43rd on the list of Regina pizza. Good, but Regina is the pizza capitol of Canada………
