PFC: THUNDER 63 EDM WILDCATS 14

The Regina Thunder dominated in every phase on route to a 63-14 win over the visiting Edmonton Wildcats on Sunday afternoon at Mosaic Stadium.
Quarterback Jaeden Marwick threw four touchdowns,and the running game produced four more majors as Regina improved to 2-0 on the season. The club has scored an incredible 112 points in two games this year.
Jaeden Marwick finished the game 14 of 23 passing for 184 yards, 4 touchdowns and one interception. Sawyer Beuttner was 7 of 10 for 100 yards in relief.
Preston Bews led the team in receiving with 55 yards on three catches. Levi Paul was next with 46 yards on four grabs and a touchdown. Kasim Ocaya had a pair or receiving touchdowns while Thomas Bresciani had the other major in the air.
Colton Klassen had another monster day with 176 yards along the ground on 14 carries and a touchdown. He added 28 yards through the air for 204 total yards. Victor St. Pierre-Laviolette finished with 96 yards on 9 carries and 2 touchdowns.
Defensively Jarrett Seck led the way with 5 tackles and a forced fumble. Dustin Erbach recorded 4 tackles, 3 assisted, 2 on special tams and a forced fumble. Steve McAlpine had 3 tackles in the game in the secondary.
The Thunder hit the road for their week 3 matchup in Edmonton against the Huskies. Kickoff on Sunday is at 1 o’clock.
