RED SOX RETURN HOME FROM ALBERTA SWING, HOME SATURDAY NIGHT

Their road trip to Alberta was not kind to the Regina Red Sox. With a 6-0 loss Friday night, the Red Sox are looking forward to heading home after dropping three of four games to their Alberta Division rivals.

The Regina Red Sox ran into a sizzling hot Trevor Swaney at Seaman Field. The Okotoks starter handcuffed the Regina hitters giving up just five hits in a complete game shutout.

Jordan Schulz was the only Red Sox hitter to reach base twice as he had a single and a walk.

Jesse Pratt lasted 6.1 innings in his second start with the Red Sox. Pratt took the loss after giving up five runs on 11 hits.

Regina, with a 19-23 record, is locked in a tight race for second place in the Saskatchewan Division with Melville and Yorkton.  The Sox will look to return to their winning ways when they host Melville Saturday night and Swift Current Monday night.
