RIDER INJURY UPDATE
Saskatchewan Roughriders General Manager Brendan Taman met with reporters in Regina Monday morning to update the club’s injury situation following Saturday’s 30-26 loss to the visiting Winnipeg Blue Bombers.
Middle linebacker Shea Emry has a neck injury and is doubtful for this week. DB Keenan MacDougal has a separated shoulder and will be out for awhile. Returner/receiver Nic Demski has a shoulder injury as well and his status is up in the air. DB Marshay Green sustained a knee injury and he too is pending.
Head Coach Corey Chamblin did say that as of now it looks like receiver Weston Dressler and safety Tyron Brackenridge will be good to go for week 2 at home to the Toronto Argonauts.

Emry,MacDougal and Demski all Nationals (still hate that term)all starters. Bad enough Durant is done but what bad luck in having these three as well.Chamblin will have an interesting few days juggling while Tamam will be looking under stones to try and find a suitable replacement for 3rd string. Any QB come to mind???
At least Dressler and Brackenridge will play so that is positive. Hopefully they are not coming back early and re-injure whatever it was that had them out.

Taman in telephone conversation begging Tino, please come back, please! so sorry we wrote you off. Tino, says "show me the money" then proceeds to come back to riderville by Monday night depending on availability of air flights to the smokey prairie.
Wonder if all these injuries are a result of no contact in training camp?

We are really looking for a 3rd string guy now (next year 4th string), so why not try for a guy like Keith Price or a developmental guy… suddenly we have to go through the Sunseri thing again and drag that out for another year or so. Remind me of years of Nelone Greene…
Roddy was pretty dismissive on Tino when he was released. Might take a little sucking up to get back on the good graces again.
Maybe find someone that can or wants to tackle, while they're at it. I was at the game on Saturday nite, and the replays of the missed tackles on TV make it look worse.

At the time Tino needed to be cut. At this point he's a viable #2. Things and situations change.

In 2008 the Riders injury list stretched from Regina to Moose Jaw, including 6 broken legs. The team went 12-6 and hosted a playoff game but back then they had a real coach and GM.
Real fans back then too. That was before all the part timers like you jumped on the bandwagon
It is not "could be in trouble" – if any team in the CFL has their #1 AND #2 go down, they are in big trouble.
In '08 they had a GM with contacts and a coach the players loved.
