Frederik Andersen made 30 saves as the Anaheim Ducks blanked the Calgary Flames 3-0 to take Game 2 of their second-round playoff series. Karri Ramo, who got the start over Jonas Hiller, stopped 31 shots for the Flames. Anaheim now leads the best-of-seven matchup 2-0. The series shifts to Calgary for Game 3 on Tuesday.

The drama has heated up on the ice in the Montreal Canadiens-Tampa Bay Lightning series. Habs forward Brandon Prust alleges referee Brad Watson insulted him repeatedly in the game’s first period after he took a roughing penalty. Montreal went on to lose 6-2. The Lightning lead the series 2-0.

Corey Crawford may have found his groove in the Chicago Blackhawks net. He turned aside 30 shots as Chicago got past the Minnesota Wild 4-1 in Game 2. The Blackhawks now lead the second-round series 2-0. Patrick Kane had a pair of goals for Chicago in the win.

A busy night for the Toronto Blue Jays. They recalled relief pitchers Steve Delabar and Chad Jenkins from their triple-A affiliate the Buffalo Bisons. Toronto also traded first baseman Andy Wilkins to the L-A Dodgers for cash considerations. The Jays return to Rogers Centre Monday night to face the New York Yankees.

A change of direction for the Milwaukee Brewers. They fired manager Ron Roenicke after starting the season at a major league-worst 7-18 and a 2-13 start. The team is expected to name a replacement later Monday.

A career year for Stephen Curry is expected to get even better later today. A person familiar to the situation says that the Golden State Warriors guard will receive the NBA MVP award. He beat out Houston’s James Harden, Cleveland’s LeBron James, the Los Angeles Clippers’ Chris Paul and Oklahoma City’s Russell Westbrook.

Maybe Prust should stop acting like a douche and the refs might leave him alone.
