PAT C’S OFF TO LEAGUE CHAMPIONSHIP

The Regina Pat Canadians are 6-0 in the SMAAAHL playoffs after a 5-1 home victory over the Notre Dame Hounds Sunday night.  With the victory, the Pat C’s swept round two of the playoffs.  The Pat Canadians now will have a couple of days off to rest up for the league championship, as they will play the winner of the Battleford Stars and the Tisdale Trojans who are currently playing, with the series tied at 1 game each

Sunday’s game scorers for the Pat Canadians were Byrce Platt, Tyran Brown, Tyler Adams, Mark Edmands and Riley Woods.  Owen Sillinger and Riley Woods added two assists each.

Curtis Meger stopped 35 of 36 shots directed his way in the victory.

Scoring for the Notre Dame Hounds was Conor MacLean. Reid Cooper stopped 21 or 26 shots directed his way.

Platt just keeps on keeping on! Good job young man. These Pat Canadians are fun to watch and all believe in each other, like a championship team should. Good luck next round!
