REGINA (CP) – Braden Christoffer had the first of three goals in the second period as the Pats downed Saskatoon 4-1 Friday in the Brandt Centre.

Carter Hansen and Jesse Gabrielle also scored in the second for Regina (31-19-7), who handed the Blades their second straight loss. Adam Brooks rounded out the attack for the Queen City Kids.

Ryan Graham replied for the Blades (17-38-3) in the third period with a short-handed goal.

The Blades outshot the Pats 33-28.  Daniel Wapple made 32 saves to collect the win in the Pats’ goal.  Regina was 1/4 on the powerplay and 5/5 killing penalties.

The attendance was 4211.

Regina hosts Red Deer Saturday evening at 7:00 on 620 CKRM (Press Box Sports Bar Pregame Show at 6:35 pm).

Pretty decent game last night. It's almost guaranteed Pats meet Swift Current in round 1 & speedy creek one of those teams that seems to have Pats number this year.

owners hold a town hall meeting with season ticket holders but could have saved it. Going ahead with the zone system for 2015/16 season even though some season ticket holders now face a 100% increase. Wonder what they would do if Everaz place increased the rent by 100%???
