CORNISH AND PRICE UPDATE

As a result of injuries sustained in Saturday’s game against the Winnipeg Blue Bombers, neither running back Jon Cornish nor receiver Maurice Price will make the trip to Vancouver for Friday’s regular-season finale against the BC Lions.

 

However, both players are progressing well and they are expected to be in the lineup when the Stampeders host the Western Final at McMahon Stadium on Sunday, Nov. 23.

After seeing Cornish 's helmet bounce off of the turf ( a couple times in the replays) – I don't think he will be playing for the rest of 2014. This will be his second concussion this year. IMHO.

So how come we hear on a regular basis of concussion problems in other contact sports more so on the topic the NFL? But its just no big deal in the cfl for a player to suffer 2 concussions in 1 season? So your Calgary right? Do you take the risk and play cornish whether you win or loose cornish is ok but definitely retires. Or you play him he gets smacked the wrong way and he gets spoon fed for the rest of his life?
