THUNDER 27 HUSKIES 27

The Regina Thunder and Edmonton Huskies played to a 27-27 tie on Sunday afternoon.

Regina got a touchdown catch from Preston Bews and Kristiane Desautels returned a kickoff 90 yards for a score in the loss.

Spencer Mack got the start at QB in favor of the injured Jaeden Marwick. As well Nick Brown made his season debut at running back and finished with 98 yards along the ground.

The game was tied at 20’s after 4 quarters and then both teams traded field goals in the first and second overtimes and the game ended in a draw.

The tie drops the Thunder into second place in the PFC behind the Saskatoon Hilltops by a point.

The Thunder wrap up the regular season on Sunday at home to the Winnipeg Rifles.
