SEAHAWKS SIGN HUS

SEATTLE, Wash. (CP) – Canadian longsnapper Jorgen Hus is getting another shot at cracking an NFL roster.

The 24-year-old Saskatoon native signed as a free agent with the Super Bowl-champion Seattle Seahawks.

The six-foot-one, 232-pound Hus attended the St. Louis Rams training camp last year but the former University of Regina star was released prior to the start of the season.

Hus is good friends with veteran Seattle punter Jon Ryan, a Regina native who also played his college football in his hometown.
