The Week That Was
The Pats’ first weekend on home ice in three weeks got off to a great start when the Blue and White jumped out to a 5-0 lead over Prince Albert.  The Raiders would start to chip away, though, and in a flurry of goals in the third period they tied the game 6-6 and sent it to overtime.  Leon Draisaitl scored in overtime to complete the improbable comeback.  Regina followed up the contest with another six goal performance, but the Pats were tough defensively as they only allowed 14 shots in the game while Boston Leier and Braden Christoffer scored twice en route to a 6-1 win.

The Week Ahead

The Pats make their first visit to Westman Place to take on the Wheat Kings.  In their only meeting of the season, Regina skated to a 5-1 win over Brandon in an October matinee game.  The Wheat Kings recently bolstered their back-end with the addition of Ryan Pilon (’96) from the Lethbridge Hurricanes.
