PATS 6 SILVERTIPS 5 OT

EVERETT, Wash. – Dyson Stevenson scored in overtime to complete Regina’s comeback as the Pats bounced the Silvertips 6-5 at Comcast Arena Wednesday evening.

Dryden Hunt scored twice and Dmitry Sinitsyn, Boston Leier and Maximilian Kammerer added singles for the Pats (11-10-0), who scored two late goals to force OT.

Tyler Sandhu had a hat trick for the Silvertips (14-3-3), with Matt Pufahl and Carson Stadnyk also scoring.

Dawson MacAuley finished with 20 saves for Regina, while at the other end of the ice Daniel Cotton stopped 15 shots.

The Pats are 3-1 on their eight-game road trip and visit the Tri-City Americans next. Puck drop at the Toyota Centre Friday is 9:00 pm on 620 CKRM (Press Box Sports Bar Pregame Show at 8:35 pm).

Its' great to see they're having success on this road trip. I turned the game off when Everett was up 5-3, not expecting to wake up to find out they won in OT! Way to go Pats!

The Pats never gave up despite a couple of 2 goal deficits…especially when the Tips came out and got 3 in a row early in the 2nd. Some players had to step up for missing Chandler and Hunt was one of them…he had great game. Has to be another confidence builder win.
