TICATS 37 BLUE BOMBERS 7

WINNIPEG – There was no reprieve for Winnipeg fans as Henry Burris and the Hamilton Tiger-Cats cruised to a 37-7 win over the Blue Bombers Saturday afternoon.

Burris threw two touchdown strikes to Onrea Jones. Chevon Walker and C.O. Prime ran for two more and the Ticats picked up nine points on field goals.

The Bombers managed only two field goals and a single.

The Bombers (3-15) finish the 2013 season tied for their worst record ever in the 18-game CFL. They managed only one of those wins at their new $200-million home, Investors Group Field.

Hamilton’s finish (10-8) is their first since 2001 to break into double digits on the win side. They’ve already secured home-field advantage for the Eastern semi-final against the Montreal Alouettes.

The announced attendance was 26,316, the lowest this season, including one pre-season game.
