PATS RE-SCHEDULE GAME, MAKE TRADE

Regina, Saskatchewan – The Regina Pats Hockey Club has announced their regular season game with the Swift Current Broncos has been rescheduled for Tuesday, November 19 at the Brandt Centre. All tickets from November 8 will be valid for the new game date.

The game was postponed on Friday, November 8 due to a malfunction with the ice plant at the Brandt Centre.

Season ticket holders can use their season ticket cards and will have the same functions as any other game – Transfer, Exchange, Resale or Donate through their My Pats Account. Any tickets that were transferred or sold will remain with the recipient for the rescheduled game. Should they be unable to attend the contest, they may transfer them back to the previous holder.

Fans who cannot make the rescheduled game and redeemed vouchers including Safeway or bring a friend will need to go back to the point of redemption (Brandt Centre Box Office or Regina Pats Business Office) with their ticket to receive a replacement voucher. If you are able to attend, then no action is required.

Fans who purchased on Ticketmaster can expect an email directly with instruction on how to request your refund should you not be able to attend the rescheduled game. If you purchased from the Brandt Centre Box Office, please return to the point of purchase for a full refund. Refunds will be provided upon request only.

All refund requests including voucher replacement must be done prior to 5 p.m. on November 18. Anyone in need of additional help can call the Regina Pats Business Office at 1-306-522-7287.

Tickets for Tuesday’s game are available now at reginapats.com, the Brandt Centre Box Office or at any Regina Safeway where Fun Zone vouchers are $13 plus tax.

Regina, Saskatchewan – The Regina Pats Hockey Club has announced they have acquired 18-year-old forward Carter Chorney from the Swift Current Broncos in exchange for 17-year-old defenceman Sam McGinley.

Chorney (6’1, 171) was originally a second round WHL Bantam Draft pick by the Spokane Chiefs in 2016. He has played in 120 games in the league between Spokane and Swift Current, scoring 17 goals and 33 points.

“We are looking forward to Carter joining our team,” said Pats VP of Hockey Operations and General Manager John Paddock. “He brings some good ability to our forward group.”

Chorney, from Sherwood Park, Alberta was named the Alberta Bantam Hockey League Rookie of the Year in 2015 where he had 17 goals and 38 points in 33 games with the Sherwood Park Flyers. He also represented Team Alberta at the WHL Cup in 2016-17, winning a gold medal.

McGinley (6’2, 180) was drafted by the Pats in the fifth round of the 2017 WHL Bantam Draft. He has played in 11 games so far in his career, picking up one assist.

“We wish Sam all the best in Swift Current,” said Paddock. “He has been a credit to our team on and off the ice.”

The Pats will return to action on Saturday night at the Brandt Centre against the Prince Albert Raiders for Experience Regina Night with TSN’s Jay and Dan. Tickets are available at reginapats.com, the Brandt Centre Box Office or at any Regina Safeway where Fun Zone vouchers are $13 plus tax.
