CFL, PUROLATOR TACKLES HUNGER TEAMING UP EARLY

In 2003, Purolator employees launched the grassroots “Purolator Tackle Hunger” initiative – a program that’s all about people helping people.

Through the program, Purolator works closely with groups across Canada to help raise awareness and collect donations to help address the issue of hunger in Canada. Many of these initiatives include local food drives and events. You’ve probably even been to one of their many “Tackle Hunger” Game Days at CFL stadiums across the country.

Over the past 17 years, this program has raised more than 13 million pounds of food to help those in need across Canada, thanks to people like you.

This year, we are launching the program earlier through a joint initiative via social and digital as a result of the impact COVID-19 is having on Canadians with limited access to food.

But we can’t do it alone – we need your help.

We invite you to help this initiative however you are able to:

  • Share the message of #TackleHunger on social media;
  • Reach out to PTH@cfl.ca to share your stories of local unsung heroes in your community;
  • Make a monetary donation to Food Banks Canada to help feed those in need; no donation is too small. Did you know $1 = 2 Meals?
Thank you, CFL fans. Together, we can make a difference.
