AUSSIE PUNTER JAKE FORD GOES #1 IN 2021 CFL GLOBAL IMPORT DRAFT
The Canadian Football League (CFL) is proud to welcome 36 global players into the league today, following the four round Global Draft. The BC Lions selected Australian punter/kicker Jake Ford with the first overall pick.
“I’m really excited to get back to the west coast,” said Ford from his home in Arkansas.
“I visited Vancouver in 2016 and just fell in love with it. Talking with coach Campbell and coach Yanowsky and hearing what they have planned for me has me even more thrilled for the opportunity to wear Lions orange.”

John Gormley summed up the CFL and its franchise teams today in part with a few short words to a bigger discussion. If the CFL hasn’t figured out by now in the previous year what’s what with the available Federal Gov’t monetary programs out there they have the wrong hierarchy people in place running things who shouldn’t be there. (Not exact words, but something like it). The 2021 season will be cancelled next week, that or more false promises to the gullible fanbase.
A punter a baker a candlestick maker, what next Randy. A punter drafted #1 … my my.
