WARRIORS TROUNCE PATS 5-2

Moose Jaw, Sask. — The Regina Pats gave up four first-period goals and had no answer, as they lost 5-2 to their Trans-Canada rival Moose Jaw Warriors at the Moose Jaw Events Centre on Thursday.

Cole Jordan scored twice, while Brayden Yager, Denton Mateychuk, and Tate Schofer scored for the Warriors in the win. Jackson Unger picked up his first win of the season and first career win against the Pats, stopping 23 of 25 shots.

Stanislav Svozil and Connor Bedard scored for the Pats in the loss. Despite allowing 5 goals, Drew Sim kept the Pats in the contest with some unbelievable saves as he stopped 37 of 42 Warriors shots.
