MONDAY RUNDOWN: RYAN THELWELL, STEVE-O STORIES AND MORE!

We began our 22nd week at Grey Eagle Resort & Casino in Calgary with Episode #877 of The RP Show – Daytime Sports & Entertainment Talk – Monday on Game+ TV and WQEE Radio! Here’s the rundown:

• RP and Moose Dupont kicked things off with The Warmup covering these Quick Six show topics: 1) Week 9 NFL recap including the Bucs, Fins and Seahawks winning, and the Packers, Falcons and Titans losing, 2) Should exiled prospect Mitchell Miller be allowed to play in the NHL?, 3) CFL West Semi Final: BC 30 Calgary 16, 4) CFL Eastern Semi Final: Montreal 28 Hamilton 17, 5) The Astros win the World Series, and 6) The Huskies and Thunderbirds will battle for the Hardy Cup in Saskatoon.
• 3x Grey Cup champion and 11-year CFL’er Ryan Thelwell (Lions & Stampeders) joined the show for three segments. He recapped Sunday’s CFL playoff games and predicted BC and Toronto will advance to the Grey Cup! He discussed all aspects of the current CFL including the resurgence of the Lions, Bo Levi’s future, and the Edmonton Elks under the guidance of Chris Jones and Geroy Simon. Ryan also spent three seasons in the NFL with the Chargers, Jaguars and Steelers and offered his thoughts on Week 9 in the NFL.
• The Capital Auto Mall/Universal Collision Centre poll question was: Should Mitchell Miller be allowed to play in the NHL? At press time, 69% of respondents said no.
• RP and Moose were featured for all of Hour 2 and the pair discussed Rod’s encounter with Jackass star Steve-O on Saturday night at Grey Eagle, whether Auston Matthews should be fighting or not, and the futures of Aaron Rodgers and Tom Brady. At the viewers’ request, Rod went deep into whether or not the Regina Pats should trade Connor Bedard.
• Friday’s Rockstar of the Day for RoxDar Supply Chain Solutions was Tom Cochrane. Monday’s was Ryan Thelwell!
