- RP and Moose Dupont got things going with The Warmup covering these Quick Six show topics: BREAKING NEWS – Darryl Sutter has been fired as head coach of the Calgary Flames! - Calgary Flames Stanley Cup champ Tim Hunter joined the show at Ace Casino and said the Sutter firing came after ownership heard plenty of griping from Sutter in the marketplace among fans, media and even internally. Hunter maintained the Flames would be an attractive job for any prospective coach & GM given the talent and new arena on the horizon. The panel went all through the Stanley Cup Playoff first round matches and results, and included previews on the Leafs & Panthers and Oilers & Golden Knights.
- The daily Key Auto Group poll question was: Which team has the best chance of winning Round 2 – Leafs or Oilers? At press time 70% of respondents voted for Toronto.
- Legendary Maple Leafs reporter Paul Hendrick joined the show and said this is a mature, confident Leafs squad which has plenty of playoff battle scars from the past few years. Paul examined where the Leafs/Lightning series turned and previewed Round 2 between Toronto and Florida.
