TUESDAY RUNDOWN: THE KISSING BANDIT, CEBL AND MORE!

Watch out or you were going to get smooched on Tuesday’s Episode #1,001 of The RP Show – Daytime Sportstalk – on Game+ TV, WQEE and Streaming! Here’s the rundown:

RP and Moose Dupont kicked things off from the Florida studio with these Quick Six show topics: 1) NHL leftovers including Dallas winning Game 7, 2-1 over Seattle, 2) A Carolina-Florida Eastern Final preview and what’s going to happen with the Leafs?, 3) The Yankees clubbed the Blue Jays 7-4 and slugger Aaron Judge is accused of stealing signs!, 4) Centennial Cup, 5) 3Down Nation’s CFL Power Rankings – Agree or Disagree?, and 6) NBA Playoffs.
The Canadian Elite Basketball League is headed into Year 5 and league owner Richard Petko joined the show for a season preview. Petko said he’s proudest of all the CEBL alum who’ve made their way onto NBA rosters, and their recently announced TV deal with TSN. Petko said he hopes to continue building Canada’s largest pro sports league, and to have the longevity the CFL has enjoyed.
The daily Key Auto Group poll question was: Who’s the Stanley Cup favourite in the Final Four – Carolina, Florida, Dallas or Vegas? At press time, the Golden Knights were leading.
CFL great and 2-time Grey Cup champ Adriano “The Kissing Bandit” Belli joined the show from Toronto to promote his family meat packing company’s quest on Thursday to set a Guiness World Record by producing the world’s largest ever sausage! Sportsnet’s Arash Madani will MC the event with all proceeds going to the Sick Kid’s Hospital. Belli told several CFL stories including how he became the Kissing Bandit, and how much he enjoyed playing games at Taylor Field!
Monday’s Rockstar of the Day was Columbus Blue Jackets Voice Jeff Rimer. Tuesday’s was Adriano Belli.
