Week 1 is in the books, and now the NFL gets rolling with a full Week 2 slate featuring 16 games from Thursday through Monday night.

The opening week gave us plenty of surprises, but that’s the nature of the NFL. With only one game in the books for each team, we’re still learning what these clubs are going to look like in 2026.

Here are our Week 2 picks straight up, with the current point spread listed for reference:

THURSDAY NIGHT

Detroit Lions at Buffalo Bills — Bills -4.5

Detroit needed overtime to get past New Orleans, while Buffalo came away with a wild road victory over Houston. The Bills are home for the first time in their new stadium, and I expect them to feed off the atmosphere.

PICK: BUFFALO BILLS

SUNDAY 1 P.M. ET

Carolina Panthers at Atlanta Falcons — Panthers -2.5

Carolina showed plenty of offensive firepower in Week 1. Atlanta will have the home crowd, but I’m taking the Panthers to start 2-0.

PICK: CAROLINA PANTHERS

Cincinnati Bengals at Houston Texans — Texans -2.5

Houston will be eager to rebound after the disappointing loss to Buffalo. Cincinnati has the offensive weapons to make this a battle, but I’m giving the home team the edge.

PICK: HOUSTON TEXANS

Cleveland Browns at Tampa Bay Buccaneers — Buccaneers -8.5

Tampa Bay is heavily favored for a reason. The Bucs have the offensive firepower and home-field advantage to take care of business.

PICK: TAMPA BAY BUCCANEERS

Green Bay Packers at New York Jets — Packers -3.5

Green Bay is looking to rebound after its Week 1 loss to Minnesota. I expect the Packers to find their footing against the Jets.

PICK: GREEN BAY PACKERS

Minnesota Vikings at Chicago Bears — Bears -5.5

Chicago’s impressive Week 1 victory over Green Bay certainly got everyone’s attention. The Bears are at home again, and I’m sticking with them.

PICK: CHICAGO BEARS

New Orleans Saints at Baltimore Ravens — Ravens -8.5

Baltimore suffered a tough Week 1 loss and should be motivated to get back on track. The Ravens have too much firepower for New Orleans.

PICK: BALTIMORE RAVENS

Philadelphia Eagles at Tennessee Titans — Eagles -7

Philadelphia survived Washington in Week 1 and now gets a favorable matchup in Tennessee. The Eagles should control this game.

PICK: PHILADELPHIA EAGLES

Pittsburgh Steelers at New England Patriots — Patriots -5.5

This could be one of the more physical games of the week. Pittsburgh’s defense will make things interesting, but New England at home gets my vote.

PICK: NEW ENGLAND PATRIOTS

SUNDAY AFTERNOON

Jacksonville Jaguars at Denver Broncos — Broncos -2.5

Denver is coming off a difficult Monday night against Kansas City, while Jacksonville enters this game with confidence. Still, I’m expecting the Broncos to bounce back at home.

PICK: DENVER BRONCOS

Las Vegas Raiders at Los Angeles Chargers — Chargers -6.5

The Chargers have home-field advantage and enough offensive talent to control this matchup. I’m taking Los Angeles.

PICK: LOS ANGELES CHARGERS

Miami Dolphins at San Francisco 49ers — 49ers -13.5

That’s a huge spread, but we’re picking straight up — and San Francisco is the clear choice for me at home.

PICK: SAN FRANCISCO 49ERS

Seattle Seahawks at Arizona Cardinals — Seahawks -4.5

Seattle gets the nod in this NFC West matchup. The Seahawks should have enough on both sides of the ball to leave Arizona with a victory.

PICK: SEATTLE SEAHAWKS

Washington Commanders at Dallas Cowboys — Cowboys -3.5

Dallas gets the home-field advantage in what should be another entertaining NFC East battle. I’m taking the Cowboys.

PICK: DALLAS COWBOYS

SUNDAY NIGHT

Indianapolis Colts at Kansas City Chiefs — Chiefs -6.5

Kansas City looked impressive Monday night against Denver and now returns home. The Chiefs should have too much firepower for Indianapolis.

PICK: KANSAS CITY CHIEFS

MONDAY NIGHT

New York Giants at Los Angeles Rams — Rams -7.5

The Giants pulled off an impressive Week 1 victory over Dallas, but the Rams present a difficult road challenge. I’m going with Los Angeles.

PICK: LOS ANGELES RAMS
