Typical Regina media/fans…The Pats tie for 1st and win it on a technicality in the league's weakest division and you think Pats management should sweep the league awards. 1 point less this season and they are in 5th heading to Medicine Hat for games 1 and 2. Seems right to me Lang and Cameron were not nominated. There are at least 8 teams with coaches/management that deserved the nomination over the Pats. Yes, Regina had a good season and exceeded expectations, but lets be realistic about it when comparing to the other teams in the league.

Pats win marketing award ???? The stadium is empty all season long and they can't get outta Riders shadows no matter what they market. Sad.

quit trying to start something out of nothing Pedersen….the right choices were nominated and don't forget teams vote on these awards….Clouston and Moore are great nominees and deserving. There's no disrespect to Cameron or Lang its just simply just the right selection in this case.

I know you're trying to drum up something for the first round to get fans in the stands….but really, its a non-issue to the true hockey mind.

Far from a travesty , clouston and the tigers finished ahead of the pats and did so without shinkaruk for most of the year

Personally I think the right choice was made. Chad and Malcolm have done a great job this season however when you look at Medicine Hat they really have a talented club.

GO Broncos

Cindy, Swift Current SK

Mark Lamb robbed for executive of the year. Any idiot can manage the Calgary Hitmen to a profit, a 40 win season and a half full Saddledome on game nights. What Lamb has done in the smallest market in the CHL with what he has to work with should be commended.

Lamb would have been another good choice actually agreed.

No story here Roddy

Eastern division players and coaches have been a victim of of their own weakness, Nobody in the East division was much more than mediocre during the season. Swift Current lead for a while but sputtered down the stretch. PA lead but faltered and barely made the playoffs. Brandon lead but limped down the stretch. Regina was hot and cold plus sort of backed into the pennant. One might suggest that with what they had to start the season with, where they were predicted to end up, and first year head coach that they should have been strongly in the running.… Read more »
