ACCESS 7 TUESDAY EYE-OPENER

With everything on the line, the Bengals picked off Peyton Manning — twice, no less — and ran back into the playoffs on Monday Night Football. Dre Kirkpatrick returned Manning’s third interception for a touchdown in the closing minutes, completing a rally that gave Cincinnati a 37-28 victory over the Denver Broncos and a spot in the playoffs. The Bengals secured a playoff berth for the fourth consecutive season, a franchise record.

Mark Giordano scored four minutes into overtime as the Calgary Flames rallied past the Los Angeles Kings 4-3. Johnny Gaudreau scored three unanswered goals in regulation to force overtime for Calgary. LA had built a 3-0 lead before Gaudreau’s heroics.

Alex Burrows scored twice and Ryan Miller made 38 saves as the Vancouver Canucks hammered the Arizona Coyotes 7-1. Daniel Sedin, Kevin Bieksa, Brad Richardson, Chris Higgins and Shawn Matthias also scored for Vancouver. The Canucks have won back-to-back games.

Braden Holtby made 38 saves as the Washington Capitals won their third in a row with a 2-1 victory over the Ottawa Senators. Washington has won three in a row and is 7-0-2 in its past nine games. Holtby has been in net for all of them.

Derrick Rose and the Chicago Bulls snapped the Toronto Raptors’ six-game winning streak with a 129-120 victory. Rose scored 29 points, Jimmy Butler added 27 points and 11 rebounds. Kyle Lowry led Toronto with 34 points and six rebounds.

Dennis Schroder scored a career-high 22 points and the Atlanta Hawks held off the Dallas Mavericks for a 105-102 victory. Atlanta led by as many as 24 points in the third quarter. The Hawks won all three games on their road trip. The Southeast Division leaders have a four-game winning streak overall, and have won 13 of their last 14.
