ALOUETTES RELEASE BRUCE, RIDERS PASS ON HIM

The Montreal Alouettes announced on Wednesday that the club has released veteran receiver Arland Bruce III.

“The Alouettes would like to thank Arland for his hard work and contributions last season. Through the challenges we faced, he played multiple roles on game day and came to work every day with the determination to win. We wish Arland the best in his future endeavours,” declared Alouettes General Manager Jim Popp.

Bruce III (5’11”, 194 lbs.) caught 64 passes for gains of 851 yards last season with the Alouettes. The 12-year veteran also rushed for 121 yards on 19 carries.

**UPDATE – The Saskatchewan Roughriders say they have no interest in signing Bruce.

Ummmm, please, please do NOT quote religon on this site. Im not saying its bad or anything like that. There is a time and a place for everything. This is not the time nor is it the place. Kinda like the 2 ladies knocking on my front door and still wanting to come in and talk about the MORMON religion. Even though Im in my very open styled house coat and my Calvin Kleins are showing! Sundays and Church is still the best time and place.I knew I was going to write this comment right after I knew Bob Nixon… Read more »

And just like that, your career is over Arland. Oh how the mighty have fallen! Now you have lots of time to bash gays on twitter and focus on your narcissistic lifestyle.

Arland Bruce providing theology lessons is so dangerous, and what he said was patently just not true. Lack of understanding is how wars are started that's how dangerous that stuff is.

New stadium design approval. Excavate one big hole in the ground, dig and shape with hand shovel some seats, cover with gigantic farm quonset roof, throw some grass seed on the playing field, mow twice a year. Stadium ready for 2015 CFL season. When is the damn stadium concept going to be unveiled, sooner the better, get at it Regina.

PS
Would hope that the final build approval will not be that proposed "old over used krinkled wrinkled stink looking hospital bed pan" design.

Let's move beyond the moronic tweet this guy sent. Tweet or not, he is past his expiration date. He really hasn't been a game changing reciever for a few years now. To even consider bringing him in would have been foolish. When he says he is contemplating retirement, I take it as a sign he knows he is past his prime and unlikely to get an offers.

As Sarah Brightman sings;
Time to say good byeee. Then add in a Brrruuce
I kinda liked the Calvin story. Wonder why the 2 Ladies still wanted to come into his home to talk about Religion. Then it came to me. The Mormon faith believes in polygamy. For those who dont know what that means. It's having more than 1 wife.
Maybe Calvin missed out on an opportunity of a lifetime!
