REGINA, Sask. (CP)  Parker Bowles scored his fourth goal of the season on the power play to lead Tri-City 3-1 over the Pats Friday evening in the Brandt Centre.

Braden Purtill and Jackson Playfair also found the back of the net for the Americans (6-3-0).

Dryden Hunt scored his fourth goal of the year on the power play for Regina (4-3-1).  The Pats were 1/2 on the powerplay and 2/3 killing penalties.

Regina goalie Daniel Wapple made 27 saves in taking the loss while Tri-City’s Eric Comrie made 29 saves and was named the first star.

The attendance was 3680.  The Pats are off until Friday when they visit Kootenay.

Paddock needs to realize that he doesn't have the talent to play this wide open game he's been playing and it caught up with him. Too many dangerous and high percentage passes and turning the puck over in the centre ice area. Not enough hard work.

Tri Cities looks like a contender in the West this year . Cool seeing two of Jim Playfair's sons play last night .
