BEDARD SKATING WITH BCHL’S West Kelowna
In preparation for the 2020-21 Western Hockey League season, Regina Pat Connor Bedard will be skating with the West Kelowna Warriors of the British Columbia Hockey League. Bedard tested negative for COVID-19 earlier this week and is expected to be on the ice today with the Warriors.
Bedard will train and practice in West Kelowna until plans for Pats training camp have been finalized ahead of the 2020-21 WHL season, at which time he will travel to the Queen City to prepare for the WHL’s 24-game regular season.
“This opportunity allows Connor to stay in top shape and come to our training camp ready. We look forward to having Connor in Regina soon, as we prepare for the WHL season,” said Pats VP of Hockey Operations and General Manager John Paddock.
Planning for the upcoming 2020-21 WHL season is ongoing, as the WHL and its member clubs continue to work with provincial health authorities to ensure a safe return of junior hockey.
