BLADES MAKE FRONT OFFICE CHANGES

Saskatoon, Sask. – The Saskatoon Blades are pleased to announce several personnel changes to the business operations department of the organization.

General Manager Colin Priestner is assuming the role of President and General Manager. Priestner recently completed his third season as G.M. and will now oversee all operations of the organization in both the hockey and business departments.

Former President Steve Hogle is maintaining his role as Alternate Governor of the team while adding the title of Senior Advisor. He is also taking on additional duties with the Blades’ parent company, Go Auto.

Communications Manager Tyler Wawryk is being promoted to Director of Business Operations. Wawryk has been with the Blades for three seasons as Communications Manager and will now take over the day-to-day operations of the club’s business, overseeing ticket sales, corporate partnerships, marketing, and game day presentation.

The club would like to thank outgoing Vice President of Business, Cliff Mapes, for his work in all these areas.

“We’re excited with these changes and we look forward to building upon the foundation we have in place,” says Priestner. “We’re already looking forward to next season and achieving even more success both on and off the ice.”

“This is a great time for the Blades,” adds Hogle. “I’m looking forward to the opportunity to embracing the new challenges in both organizations.”

These changes take effect immediately.
