BLUE BOMBERS 25 ALOUETTES 23

WINNIPEG – Lirim Hajrullahu booted four field goals and the Winnipeg Blue Bombers scored touchdowns off an interception and a blocked punt in a 25-23 victory over the Montreal Alouettes on Friday.

Winnipeg (2-1) held a 22-13 lead going into the fourth quarter, but Montreal running back Tyrell Sutton ran in his second touchdown of the game 55 seconds in to start closing the gap.

Hajrullahu booted his fourth field goal to make it 25-20, but Als rookie quarterback Rakeem Cato guided the Alouettes on a six-play, 55-yard drive that ended with Boris Bede’s 38-yard field goal.

With their team leading 25-23, the 25,605 fans at Investors Group Field got loud and Montreal (1-2) was facing third down and eight yards with 1:26 left in the game.

Winnipeg avoided a pass interference penalty and Cato’s throw to target S.J.Green was tipped away and the ball turned over at Montreal’s 26-yard line.

Green finished with six catches for 180 yards.

So Kavis Reed is in charge of 'special teams' (does that bring back horrible memories?) So Winnipeg scores a touchdown against Kavis' punt team.
To quote Reed from the previous place he messed up, "There will be consequences"

How do these guys keep landing on their feet?

I still get a sick feeling when I see him on TV.

You need to see a psychiatrist about your Kavis fixation.
