BOMBERS 18 STAMPEDERS 13

CALGARY – The Winnipeg Blue Bombers concluded their season with an 18-13 win over the host Calgary Stampeders in a snowy game at McMahon Stadium Saturday afternoon.

Lirim Hajrullahu booted four field goals and Clarence Denmark caught a touchdown pass for the Blue Bombers in a low-scoring affair.

Winnipeg closes out the season with a record of 7-11 and finishes out of the playoffs.

Rob Cote had a touchdown pass, Rene Paredes kicked a field goal and punter Rob Maver contributed a single for the Stampeders, who drop to 14-3 with one game remaining in the regular season.

Stampeder star running back Jon Cornish left in the second quarter after bouncing his head off the turf. He did not return to the game.
