BOMBERS FIRE SPECIAL TEAMS COACH

WINNIPEG (CP) – The Winnipeg Blue Bombers have fired special teams co-ordinator Pat Tracey.

The move came two days after the CFL club dropped a 37-19 decision to the previously winless Saskatchewan Roughriders. Winnipeg extending its losing skid to four games and fell to 3-7 on the season.

“Decisions like these are never easy to make but at this juncture in our season and what has transpired to date, we felt this was for the betterment of the organization moving forward,” head coach Mike O’Shea said Tuesday in a statement.

O’Shea will oversee the special teams for the rest of the season.

If O'Shea is calling the shots for the special teams, look for him to screw around with a couple of fakes this weekend. He's done it to the Riders many times in the past.
