BOMBERS RELEASE PICARD

WINNIPEG — The Winnipeg Blue Bombers Football Club has announced the release of National offensive lineman Dominic Picard.

The Laval product signed as a free agent with the Bombers on January 6, 2015 and started 14 games with Winnipeg last season, all at centre.

Salary dump? Poor Dom has been there before. Jim Popp likes players over 30, so look for him to head out to Montreal next.

besides the amount of holding calls Picard was getting the past couple years. His snap back to the QB is slow and wobbly as hell. Easily losing a second or so compared to better centers out there. That second is important time for a QB

Think of the Riders' most successful seasons always had a terrific center. Habig, Urness, Bird, Brandt, Anderson, J.O. and Dom. Hopefully Dom will catch on somewhere else. He was great while he was a Rider.
