BOMBERS WELCOME BACK VEGA
The Winnipeg Blue Bombers are pleased to announce the signing of import defensive end Jason Vega. Vega returns to Winnipeg after spending the 2013 season in the National Football League.
Vega (6-4, 255, May 30, 1987 in Brockton, Massachusetts) spent the 2011 and 2012 seasons with the Blue Bombers, playing in 27 games and racking up 66 tackles, 12 sacks and one fumble recovery.
He also played in one playoff game, scoring an offensive touchdown, and the 2011 Grey Cup, where he recorded two tackles and one sack. Vega was named defensive player of the week in week 17 of 2011, and week 11 of 2012.
The 26-year old spent part of 2013 with New England, but more so with the Dallas Cowboys, seeing action in two games, including an October victory at Philadelphia, where he recorded one tackle in a 17-3 win.
“Jason is a character guy with great athletic ability. He is not only a great football player, but a real quality person and will be a welcomed addition to our locker room,” said General Manager Kyle Walters.
Bombers on their way to the top of the CFL west division 1st place standings 2014 and a probable GC appearance resulting in a title real soon thereafter.
Mr. Lahey
Winnipeg Blue Bombers,
Loudest and Proudest.
Sounds like Rider fans of 20 years ago. I hope we'll never have to talk like that again.
Dear bomber fans:
Definition of Delusional: having a fixed false belief that is resistant to reason or confrontation with actual facts.
Signed
Rider Fans
Which team got beat down in the 2nd Labour day weekend game 2014 by a loser Bomber team? Confrontation, let the season begin real soon, real soon. Can't wait for the actual facts to do the talking with the Blue Bombers in the victory column. Cheese in the trap, and the sh*t rats (rrs) are nibbling, the liquor tells me so.
Sincerely,
Mr J Lahey + Rand
