SWIFT CURRENT, Sask. (CP) – Carter Rigby and Coda Gordan both scored power-play goals in the second period to lead the Broncos by Regina Friday night.
Jake DeBrusk added another for Swift Current (8-7-1).
Sam Steel chipped in with his third goal of the season on the power play for the Pats’ (5-7-1) lone goal. It was another game where the Pats outshot their opponent (33-31) but wound up with a defeat. Daniel Wapple took the loss in the Pats’ cage making 28 saves.
The Pats host the Broncos Saturday at 7 pm on 620 CKRM (Press Box Sports Bar Pregame Show at 6:35 pm). Regina is home to Lethbridge Sunday at 6 pm.
