Too bad the Pats can't play MJ/Saskatoon/Brandon and/or LETH every night… (Their record against "good"– or pretty much anyone BUT those 4– teams is horrible.) Smoke and mirrors, people… And, by the attendance at the Brandt Centre.. Not many people are fooled.

Am I wrong or did they just not beat Victoria and Calgary last weekend? 2 teams that are/where in the top 10 in the CHL last week!

If you don't like the Pats thats fine. It's your perogative not to go to games. But please us supporters really are tired of you "Pat Haters" coming on here to tell us how bad you think they are. Stay away we don't want or need your negativity.

I knew they were going to lose. A good friend of mine high up in the organization told me so.

Any game is winnable if you put the work ethic and discipline into it. Last night the Pats didn't do either. As the coach said you can't blame the loss on players who aren't there. You could see the work ethic and heart wasn't there from the get go. Still far too many needless penalties, another seven last night. It was the Broncos rookies DeBrusk and Gawdin who killed us last night. You shouldn't get beat by the other teams fourth line guys. Reading Cameron's comments he was some choked up at his teams lack of heart and effort. He has… Read more »

Pats need to be more disciplined.

Yes, the Pats are good at beating the bottom feeder teams but they beat Victoria and Calgary on the weekend and they also had a successful road swing against a very tough US division. The Pats can compete with the best and beat them. Swift Current has their number this year by the looks of it. They'll beat them tomorrow night.

Yep. A couple one goal wins against two decent teams last week. Full credit for thoses. But… Does that make a team that has 27 of it's 35 wins against MJ/STOON/BRANDON/PA/LETH/RD/PG (I'd add Kamloops and TRI, but the Pats somehow managed to LOSE to those powerhouses) a contender… ?

Uh, no.

Face it. Pats are OK. Not great, not bad. They are playing in the East– where nearly every other team is having a down or rebuilding season…

Lol people can't wait for either the pats or riders to lose. I bet cases of arthritis and carpal tunnel in this city is going to skyrocket. Everyone wringing their hands in anticipation of these guys to lose so they can come on here on and type there garbage.

I tend to look for the positives in all situations. The Pats aren't a powerhouse team but they play with heart and they play a more fun style of hockey as compared to the past few years (this is only my 5th year as a season ticket holder). I'd say they're doing pretty good considering so many people didn't even think they'd make the playoffs this year.

If they can manage to get healthy before the playoffs (and stay out of the penatly box) they will do just fine.

GO PATS!

Was not disappointed with the loss, the Pats are not going to win each and every game.

But I sincerely hope the coach noticed it was his favorite third line that spent a lot of time in the penalty box when the team was short of players to begin with?

And what's with Chandler Stephenson taking a selfish penalty each and every game?

Look at the league website and see who the Pats didn't have in their lineup. They were missing 200 points. Simmer down. The Pats will easily win their division. This is a great Pats team.

What do some of you so-called fans want – Hitmen (2nd in Central with 90 pts) and Royals (2nd in BC with 89 pts) come into Regina on 9 game winning streaks and get beat by a Team (in the so called weakest WHL Division) who has 12-15 less points in the standings than they do; we go into Swift Current with 8W in last 10 and get beat by a team we are fighting it out for 1st place with and "they're still too inconsistent to get me to actually go to a game" – give your head a… Read more »
