SWIFT CURRENT, Sask. (CP) – Jake DeBrusk had a hat trick and two assists as the Broncos skated past Regina 6-4 on Wednesday evening.

Brett Lernout, Brycen Martin and Max Lajoie also scored for Swift Current (16-13-4).

Adam Brooks, Braden Christoffer, Sam Steel and Patrick D’Amico supplied the offence for the Pats (18-11-1), who had a five-game win streak come to an end.

The Pats visit Saskatoon Saturday at 7 pm on 620 CKRM (Press Box Sports Bar Pregame Show at 6:35 pm).

It was a good run…just had a few lapses on D last night and Broncos played tough hockey against us. Hopefully Waps isn't injured?? Looking forward to the game on 17th to send them off for the Xmas break.

Wapple isn't hurt the goalie change was made to try and spark the team as we were playing like arse.

Again just further more to prove that this team is still just a slightly better then avg team. There was a lot of mistakes last night watching on webcast

If the new ownership wants to recoup some of their start up costs they will stand PAT and probably (maybe win a round in playoffs) If they want to win long term and build a culture they have to be sellers. But hey they are businessmen. Its easy to say what to do when its not your money. The Parkers were loyal and werent sellers and in the end it didnt work.
