CAPITALS 3 FORT KNOX 2

The Extreme Hockey Regina Capitals and Fort Knox brought two distinct streaks into their Tuesday night match up at the Al Ritchie Arena.  Fort Knox had won four straight games including a shoot out victory over the hosts which started the Capitals’ three game losing streak.

Each streak met a dramatic end as Capitals leading scorer Cody Hegion scored at 1:48 of overtime to hand the home team the win, 3-2.  Carson Bogdan faced 30 shots for his 20th victory of the season.  Emery Anderson and Dillon Frater scored the other Capitals goals in regulation.  Fort Knox goalie Jonathon Loeffler faced 39 shots in the loss.

Also on Tuesday, PJHL executive member Stan Marlin presented South Division All Star awards to Cody Hegion and Carson Bogdan and PJHL Rookie of the Year Award to Braydon Delorme.

The Capitals’ final regular season game is Friday February 13th in Saskatoon against the Royals.
