CEBL COMING TO GAME+ TV

The Canadian Elite Basketball League (CEBL) and global multi-platform media company, Anthem Sports & Entertainment Inc., announced Friday an agreement that will bring complete coverage of 20 live regular season CEBL games in 2024 to viewers throughout Canada on Game+.
 
Available across North America on cable, IPTV, satellite and subscription streaming services including FUBO, Game+ airs programming ranging from live sports and sports entertainment to fantasy sports, sports betting, Esports, and other fast-paced, action-adventure driven programming.
 
Game+ coverage of the CEBL tips off on the second night of the 2024 regular season schedule (Wednesday, May 22) at 9:30 p.m. ET when the Winnipeg Sea Bears take on the Saskatchewan Rattlers at SaskTel Centre. With at least one live CEBL game every week this summer, Game+ coverage spans until the final night of the league’s regular season on Monday, July 29.

A league created by Canadians for Canadians with a mission to develop Canadian players, coaches, sports executives, and referees, the CEBL boasts the highest percentage of Canadian players of any pro league in the country with 73% of its 2023 rosters being Canadian. Well this is great news. In the US damn near every team has TV coverage but it’s so sparse in Canada except for a handful of leagues. Nice to see the CEBL in the spotlight.
