The Jonas Brothers will be the halftime entertainment at the 2024 Grey Cup game in Vancouver.

The CFL and B.C. Lions made the joint announcement Monday.

The pop-rock band — consisting of brothers Kevin, Joe and Nick Jonas — will make its second appearance in Vancouver in roughly a year. The brothers performed in the city in November 2023 during its tour in support of “The Album.”

The Jonas Brothers have sold over 20 million albums globally.

The band has had 26 Billboard Hot 100 hits, three consecutive No. 1 debuts on the Billboard 200 and two Grammy nominations.

The Grey Cup game will be held Nov. 17 at B.C. Place Stadium.

“After bringing ‘The Tour’ to Vancouver last November, we were so excited for the opportunity to return and perform at the Grey Cup this November,” the band said in a statement.

Punk band Green Day performed at halftime at the 2023 Grey Cup in Hamilton.

The CFL has moved the Elks‘ season opener against the Saskatchewan Roughriders to an afternoon start to allow sports fans in Edmonton to also watch the Oilers in Game 1 of the Stanley Cup final. The game originally scheduled for Saturday at 5 p-m Mountain Time will now start three hours earlier. Game 1 of the NHL final is scheduled for Saturday at 6 p-m M-T as the Florida Panthers host the Oilers.

The Edmonton Elks have signed quarterback Dakota Prukop.

The veteran returns for a second stint with Edmonton after being released by the B.C. Lions in late May. Prukop had 134 rushing yards and two touchdowns in eight games with Edmonton in 2021.

The 30-year-old spent the last two seasons with the Winnipeg Blue Bombers, where he recorded 13 rushing touchdowns in 27 games. The short yardage specialist has appeared in the last two Grey Cups with the Bombers, combining for 42 yards on the ground and four rushing touchdowns — including two in each game.

Prukop, from Austin, Texas, began his CFL career with the Toronto Argonauts in 2017.
