CFL WEEK 4 DISCIPLINE

The Canadian Football League (CFL) announced today:

– Hamilton Tiger-Cats defensive lineman Ted Laurent was fined for a low hit on Saskatchewan Roughriders quarterback Brandon Bridge.

– Ottawa REDBLACKS defensive lineman A.C. Leonard was fined for a low hit on Montreal Alouettes quarterback Jeff Mathews.

– Montreal Alouettes running back Tyrell Sutton was fined for delivering a blow with the crown of his helmet to the head of Ottawa REDBLACKS defensive back Corey Tidal.

– Winnipeg Blue Bombers offensive lineman Sukh Chungh was fined for unnecessary roughness for hitting a BC player (T.J. Lee) late and while he was in a vulnerable position.

The CFL also announced that in Week 3:

– Saskatchewan Roughriders defensive lineman Mic’hael Brooks was fined for a high hit while Montreal Alouettes receiver B.J. Cunningham was in a vulnerable position.

As per league policy, the amount of the player fines was not disclosed.
